Currently March!

I'm a little late linking up...but better late than never, right!  Here is a quick post with this month's "Currently", hosted by the wonderful Farley at...

She hosts this wonderful link up each month where we get to know each other a little bit better!  If you haven't check her blog out before, click her logo above and head right over!  Grab a snack and settle in...lots to look at!

Well, here is my "Currently" for the month.

It was a long afternoon at Solo and Ensemble qualifications, but my son's solo and two ensembles all made it to state.  YAY!  It's so fun to see all those talented teens under one roof for a day!

Today the weather was AMAZING!  I think it even hit 40 degrees for a while!  Things are starting to melt which puts me in the mood for BASEBALL!  It's only a matter of time...

I know the next two are counterproductive...I want to quit drinking soda for my health but also want to stuff myself full of pizza for dinner.  I'm not proud.  I admit it.

About the "list". I'm a little overwhelmed these days with crazy schedules, high demands, a busy home life, and more.  I need to make a list before I forget to go somewhere or do something.

And the last one?  Although it wasn't on my radar and wasn't really what I wanted to do with my week off, I'm trying to embrace my upcoming trip to the Dominican Republic.  Maybe I'll actually be able to relax...but more worried that I'm just going to worry about all that isn't getting done.

That's all for now!  Stop back tomorrow for "Loved That Lesson"!  I have a GREAT lesson I want to share with you!

  1. A trip to the Dominican Republic! That sounds amazing! I hope the snow melts for you soon and it starts to warm up! What a crazy winter the US have had!

  2. I didn't post to the "Currently" party this month because I was a few days late realizing March had arrived. Opps! I'm glad I'm not the only one. Enjoy your trip. It sounds awesome!

  3. Congrats on your son making it to state! I must say I'm a little jealous of your spring break plans. I only have one week off this year and did not make any travel plans. Hope you don't mind if I live vicariously through you.
