Posting on All Things Upper Elementary Today! Stop on over!

Hello!  Today I am posting on my collaborative blog, All Things Elementary.  If you haven't been there lately, you should really come check out the great things my fellow bloggers have been posting about!  There are some great teaching ideas being posted every week!

Today I wrote about the need to increase rigor in reading--but how we need to tread gently so that OUR stress doesn't affect our kiddos!  I threw a freebie on there with sample of my new "Pausing Point" resource.  Those of you who have used either my full resource or my historical fiction book club resource will know what I am talking about!

Anyhoo...have a great day and stop over and read some of the great entries from the last few weeks if you haven't already!

  1. Awesome post today. Thanks for sharing.
Any idea when the fraction unit will be posted? Sorry, I am just so excited. Will the hands on fraction activity be included in your unit. Thanks. Ursula

    1. Thanks, Ursula! I have a skeleton done on the unit and will keep plugging away! I am so sorry for the delay! I WILL include the hands on fraction activity in the unit along with all the journal prompts, the lesson ideas, exit slips, and so on!

  2. Hi, just checking in to see if the fraction unit was done. I KNOW it is a lot of work. Even if I just have it for next year I will be happy. I have printed out and followed your blog posts and I have to say that my students are grasping the concept of fractions better this way. Thanks and I am heading over to you collaborative blog! Thanks, Pam
